    The Way back down

Where do we go, nobody knows
I’ve gotta say I’m on my way down
God give me style and give me grace
God put a smile upon my face

Where do we go to draw the line
I’ve gotta say, I wasted all your time, oh honey honey
Where do I go to fall from grace
God put a smile upon your face, yeah

Now when you work it out I’m worse than you
Yeah when you work it out, I want it too
Now when you work out where to draw the line
Your guess is as good as mine…

Where do we go, nobody knows
Don’t ever say you’re on your way down, when..
God gave you style and gave you grace
And put a smile upon your face, oh yeah

Now when you work it out I’m worse than you
Yeah when you work it out, I want it too
Now when you work out where to draw the line
Your guess is as good as mine…

It’s as good as mine (x3)
    As good as mine… (x4)

Where do we go, nobody knows
Don’t ever say you’re on your way down, when..
God gave you style and gave you grace
And put a smile upon your face

    Choosing the Paths

    Choosing the Paths

It is true that, while busied only in considering the manners of other men, I found here, too, scarce any ground for settled conviction, and remarked hardly less contradiction among them than in the opinions of the philosophers. So that the greatest advantage I derived from the study consisted in this, that, observing many things which, however extravagant and ridiculous to our apprehension, are yet by common consent received and approved by other great nations, I learned to entertain too decided a belief in regard to nothing of the truth of which I had been persuaded merely by example and custom; and thus I gradually extricated myself from many errors powerful enough to darken our natural intelligence, and incapacitate us in great measure from listening to reason. But after I had been occupied several years in thus studying the book of the world, and in essaying to gather some experience, I at length resolved to make myself an object of study, and to employ all the powers of my mind in choosing the paths I ought to follow
Rene Descartes, Discourse on the Method of Rightly Conducting One’s Reason and of Seeking Truth in the Sciences, PREFATORY NOTE BY THE AUTHOR (PART I)

An update to the Whirlwind post: new design added.

    Whirlwind 1

    Whirlwind 2

But men, if they be in their own power, and do bear and sustain themselves, and be not carried away with a whirlwind or tempest of ambition, ought in the pursuit of their own fortune to set before their eyes not only that general map of the world, “That all things are vanity and vexation of spirit,” but many other more particular cards and directions: chiefly that, that being without well-being is a curse, and the greater being the greater curse; and that all virtue is most rewarded and all wickedness most punished in itself…”

    Render Flam3 1.3.1 – Apophysis animation Script for Flam3

    25th October 2007
    Tags: , , , , ,

    New release available here: RenderFlam3

This is just a simple maintenance release.
I’ve found a minor bug regarding Zoom (Camera Zoom) property that was fixed.
Added support for Flam3 2.7.6 and Apophysis 2.06c 3D Hack.

A couple of words about Apo 3D Hack are needed: Flam3 actually doesn’t support the new Apo’s 3D features so the script can be used only to create traditional 2D Flame animations.

Download here (right click / Save As): RenderFlam3.zip

Complete Render Flam3 posts archive here: Search about Render Flam3

    v 1.3.1 – 25 Oct. 2007
    * Added support for Apophysis 2.06c 3D hack
    * Added support for Flam3 2.7.6
    * Camera Zoom minor bugs fixed
    * Minor updates:
    ** Some code optimizations
    ** Better supersample/oversample check
** Bat file: end comment modified
    ** “LoopKF” name added back

    Battlefield (about Life)

Illustrious is it to have many virtues, but a hard lot; and many a one hath gone into the wilderness and killed himself, because he was weary of being the battle and battlefield of virtues.

    Glimmer of Hope 1

    Glimmer of Hope 2

And i remember laughing so much we cried
You knew my every thought, there was
    Nothing i could hide
We celebrated moons we marvelled at
    The night sky
With flute and drum and pen we were
    Grateful for our lives

I hear you crying in my heart
Absent friends shall live by love
    Remember places of my past
Absent friends shall live by love
And the dead shall live again
    Absent friends shall live by
    Love…love…love…love

I’ve finally finished the new Render Flame3 script version.
Preliminary Docs are included in the new archive.
Read the Docs or below for new features.
I’ve lost many of my limited spare time trying to resolve problems and Apo’s Script language limitations regarding VariationVariables; most of them are resolved but new 1.3.x or 1.4 versions will have a complete brand new solution-scheme.

Download here (right click / Save As): RenderFlam3.zip

Render Flam3 Step changed to Render Flam3

    19th October 2007
    Tags: , , , , ,

    EDIT
Last version available here: Exper Apophysis Scripts

I’m currently finishing the new version of Render Flam3 Step.
The 1.3 version will be soon available (maybe even today) and it’ll have some new fatures; some of them are:
    * Animation types: Morph, Sheep and Edges
    * Support for the latest version of Apophysis and Flam3
    * Flam3 proper installation checks
    * Advanced options and commented .Bat file

I decided to slightly change the Script name from “Render Flam3 Step” to simply “Render Flam3″.
The Step term was initially used to expose one of the script’s features: the Step option.
This one seems not much used and underestimated at now so the new name will change to better fit the general usage.

    Time and Tide

    Time and Tide 2

    Time and Tide 3

    Infinity stretches unlimitlessly
    Countless days pass by immeasurably
    Anniversaries gutter in the maelstrom
Whirling a snowstorm of lustrous millennium
    We couldn’t stay together
    This couldn’t last forever
    Senses dissolve into soliloquies
    Flooding ascent in synchronicity
    But we couldn’t stay together
I knew this wouldn’t last forever
Forever just one more tie then never
This is the last string to sever
On and on yes it goes on and on
    I could stay wherever
    I would last forever
Forever just one more tie then never
This is the last string to sever
    Forever never forever
This is the last string to sever
I have lost you for ever and ever
