Those who travel very slowly may yet make far greater progress, provided they keep always to the straight road, than those who, while they run, forsake it.
Rene Descartes, Discourse on the Method

No Matter What or Who You've Been (ref. epsp1-52)

Oh no love! you’re not alone
You’re watching yourself but you’re too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if I could only make you care
Oh no love! you’re not alone
No matter what or who you’ve been
No matter when or where you’ve seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I’ve had my share, I’ll help you with the pain
    You’re not alone

    RenderFlam3 1.3.6 and Flam3 2.7.16

    30th October 2008
    Tags: , , , , ,

    Short and fast!

    I’ve tested RenderFlam3 1.3.6 using the last Flam3 2.7.16 release.
The Script finds the new version correctly when it’s used both in “plain” and “sub” folders installations.

The script works perfectly in conjunction with the latest Flam3 versions but it supports all the features up to 2.7.11 one.
I don’t have updated the whole thing, during the last months, due to lack of spare time and no users demand but the Apophysis-Flam3 combo is still viable using the script.

    Passing from Infancy to Manhood

Passing from Infancy to Manhood (Fractal Flame ref. round-100-2-212)

And, to speak of human affairs, I believe that the pre-eminence of Sparta was due not to the goodness of each of its laws in particular, for many of these were very strange, and even opposed to good morals, but to the circumstance that, originated by a single individual, they all tended to a single end. In the same way I thought that the sciences contained in books (such of them at least as are made up of probable reasonings, without demonstrations), composed as they are of the opinions of many different individuals massed together, are farther removed from truth than the simple inferences which a man of good sense using his natural and unprejudiced judgment draws respecting the matters of his experience. And because we have all to pass through a state of infancy to manhood, and have been of necessity, for a length of time, governed by our desires and preceptors (whose dictates were frequently conflicting, while neither perhaps always counseled us for the best), I farther concluded that it is almost impossible that our judgments can be so correct or solid as they would have been, had our reason been mature from the moment of our birth, and had we always been guided by it alone.
René Descartes, Discourse on the Method of Rightly Conducting One’s Reason and of Seeking Truth in the Sciences, PART II

We have just One World but we live in different ones (ref. epsp1-56)

    There’s so many different worlds
    So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Now the sun’s gone to hell
    And the moon’s riding high
    Let me bid you farewell
    Every man has to die

    SPAM bombed

    23rd October 2008
    Tags: , ,

The SPAM bombing against my blog is increasing day after day.
I was taking a look to the SPAM stats today and I’ve got to say that only one message was published in a range of more than two years.

    That’s really funny!
Keep on pushing on your keyboards and clicking on your send-SPAM tools; that’s one is an activity that can make you happy if you’re stupid enough… or “someone must have told you if you work too hard you can sweat” (The Stranglers, Always The Sun).

    That’s all! :)

    20th October 2008
    Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Scrittori, artisti, danzatori, fotografi, registi, musicisti.
