    Disable Revisions and Autosave plugins – WP 2.8 compatible

    The Disable Revisions and Autosave plugins are WordPress 2.8 compatible.

    disable-autosave.zip – Disable Autosave function
    disable-revisions.zip – Disable Revisions function
    disable-revisions-and-autosave.zip – Disable Revisions and Autosave at the same time.

    I’ve tested them during the last days and they work flawlessly as expected. ;-)

      Thank you for writing this. I was pulling my hair out over the Autosave saving after EVERY time you click off the text-edit box! I run post IDs in my site URL and it was such a shame to waste all my low Post IDs on dozens of revisions I’ll never need.

      This does break the Preview button (you have to manually Save Draft or Update beforehand if you want to Preview) but I can live with it.

      Josh, glad you find it useful!
      Yes, the plugin breaks the Preview feature but I’ve found the extra Save/Update not much an effort in comparison too. :)
