Hi Raven,
glad you like the site and the designs.

Talking about RenderFlam3... well it'll have not 3Dhack support as long as Flam3 will start to support it too.
RenderFlam3 script is intended as a "bridge" between Apophysis and Flam3 so I cannot add features that are not supported on both of them.

Hi Exper!

Just wondering if you have some plans adding support for more 3Dhack features in your busy agenda; great site and wonderful art work. Thanks for sharing the magic around. Kudos.

Hi Thomas,
welcome back to flame animating.
RenderFlam3 previews (shows) all the exported KeyFrames (flames) in sequence; a complete preview is actually out of aims due to various ApoScript limitations: the Morph command don't support most of the new stuff so creating one could require a very big bunch of code and a lot of hard work.

You can have a Preview only rendering some frames out of the full sequence just adding the "nframes" command to the RenderFlam3 generated .bat file.
If your sequence has a 100 frames length then adding nframes=50 will just render the KeyFrames and the mid-motion frames.

Hope it helps a bit.

Exper
Thomas here, aka biomorphica, the flame animator dude from days of yore who helped start this animating in apo stuff
http://diatom.tv/visuals/project/Durian
Just returning to animating flames after a long time off. Your script is still the !shizzle! my friend.
One thing that might be helpful, that I had in my ancient version, was an option to make a preview of the animation in a window in apo. Do you have this in your script? I don't see it, but maybe I missed it. That would be very useful when making anims in production.
Hope you are doing great! love your site.
basta!

Hi Yves,
sorry for the long delay!

You should simply have the batch (.bat) file in the same folder where you have exported the flame file.

Hello Exper
i've been trying to run this script renderflam, using the tutorial on http://biomorphica.com/apophysis/animTutorial/
The problem is, i never have a batch file in the anims folder, as if it's just not exporting any flames. I've tried to change the folder to the apophysys folder, but no luck.
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here, and it would be quite a help, if there would be just some basic tutorial on how to use this renderengine.

hope you can help me,
all the best
