Flam3 2.8 Beta7
22nd December 2009
Flam3 2.8 Beta7 release mainly adds full interpolation for ‘Highlight power’ and it corrects the flam3-genome ‘split’ (broken during the previous betas).
Thanks a lot to Erik Reckase for the new update!

Flam3 2.8 Beta7 – 12/20/09
+ Highlight power now interpolates smoothly from old behavior (-1) to new behavior.
+ flam3-genome ‘split’ mode was broken, fixed (thanks Exper.)
+ Die gracefully instead of segfault when very small estimator_curve values are specified.
+ Version attribute added to flame tag.
+ Number of iterations used to fuse attractor increased to 100.

Thanks Giovanni for spreading new version.
Your work is great, so is your website.
I’ve been creating fractals since 1989, on old pcs it was a very hard task…
Should you wish to exchange opinions and/or just a word, please contact me by mail.
Love & respect

Hi Susanna,
glad you liked both of them!
I know the old pcs problems very well; started on very ancient ones too! At the time I was mainly involved into the 3D field… I remember the rendering was long some days even for very simple scenes.
I’ll send you and email as soon as possible!
