Those who travel very slowly may yet make far greater progress, provided they keep always to the straight road, than those who, while they run, forsake it.
Rene Descartes, Discourse on the Method

Under a darkening sky / The night is falling down on me / And I'm thinking that I should / Head on home / Been gone too long / Leave my roaming

Men At Work – Down Under

    28th June 2010

I’ve always appreciated the Men At Work’s funny and intelligent approach; their unique style was another pearl in the vast eighties panorama.
Down Under (from their most famous record: Business as Usual) is a surreal song in both lyrics and video and the music is a perfect match for both of them.
    Amazing stuff!!!

    Fuori dalle Gabbie

    25th June 2010
    Tags: , ,

    Awesome song!
Both music and lyrics (the video too is a masterpiece but it’s not included in this embeddable version).

    An inspiring song.
I normally don’t like this kind of drum-line but it perfectly fits here.
