L’Associazione ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) Puglia e Basilicata bandisce un concorso fotografico nazionale, destinato a mettere in rilievo le qualità funzionali del design attraverso immagini che ritraggano oggetti di design nel loro uso quotidiano.
La funzione è un elemento distintivo e imprescindibile del design, che ha come fine ultimo quello di dare soddisfazione. Eppure, è proprio questo elemento che, nelle immagini che ritraggono gli oggetti di design, viene spesso tralasciata. L’obiettivo di questa iniziativa è sottolineare il ruolo del design nell’ideare artefatti in grado di generare, in chi li utilizza, un alto livello di soddisfazione.
Per questo ai fotografi, professionisti o amatori, viene richiesto di puntare sulla visualizzazione di oggetti di design, fotografati nell’uso quotidiano, per far ritrovare al design il suo essere artefatto funzionale e non oggetto di esposizione.
La partecipazione è aperta a tutti gli appassionati di fotografia senza distinzione alcuna, inviando non più di quattro foto in B&N e a colori.
Il termine di presentazione delle opere è il 30 marzo 2011.
Il concorso è in collaborazione con Photoarchitetti ed è sponsorizzato da Nikon Italia e dal Consorzio CETMA. Si avvale, inoltre, del patrocinio dell’associazione ADI Nazionale e della Fondazione ADI.
Seguirà una mostra con una selezione dei migliori scatti.
The whole 3DRecursions sites was moved to a new ISP during the last week (10 to 16 January).
The previous ISP is closing all activities at the end of this month; after some years of support (they let me move to better servers at least one time per year) the whole network will die.
I’ve been in such a hurry… few spare time and a quite big amount of stuff to move, upload and configure. Changed the DNS, configured the new space and moved all the stuff.
The was some hiccups… you know. The new ISP has a completely different CP (Control Panel) and the reconfiguration was done as fast as possible but some adjustments and optimizations was necessary; they obviously leaded to a certain number of minor/major problems.
Everything is ok from Monday 17 (ah.. 17… such a bad number) but some more minor optimizations are still in progress.
MAILS: If you’ve send me a mail using one of the 3drecursions addresses from 11 to 15 January then you’d have to resend them. If you had an error then resend them. If you didn’t had an error then resend them too: the DNS spreading is quite strange and maybe the mail was delivered on the old server (died now).
My apologies for the snail-speed replying to the messages (comments and emails).
I’m in constant lack of spare time but I’m processing all of them.
My son is now approaching 6 months and he drains (joyfully to me) much of my time resources; who have one (or more) small child will be more than aware of what I’m talking about.
My main-job as Art Director and Graphic Designer is always pressing with a lot of urgencies and setbacks.
Chaotic Flow is near to the freeze state but it’ll resume as soon as possible.
On the other side… I’ve started to put my hands on the next RenderFlam3 release and I’m currently slowly implementing some new stuff like Templates and a better Global Camera Rotation tool.
But I really don’t know when it’ll be available.
